Job Position Summary Description:
Customer is seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Technology Operations, the DevOps Manager is responsible for the team that establishes and coordinates the CI/CD framework with other teams including development, quality assurance and operations.
This includes the management of repos, pipelines, and various merge/migration processes within a variety of platform environments from COTS to in-house development.
This manager will collaborate closely with the other managers in the technology organization to ensure development of assets are merged and migrated to production environments in a standardized, streamlined CI/CD methodology.
Key Responsibilities / Functions:
Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on DevOps best practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, orchestration, and build automation engineering
Designs and implements standardized processes and automation across the DevOps team
Serves as a central coordination point for the execution of CI/CD processes with other teams and their associated managers including product owners, development, quality assurance, and operations
Manage resources responsible for repo creation, pipelines, build/merges, pull requests, and various overall migrations
Develops DevOp estimates in relationship to client projects and new pipelines
Ensures the reliability, performance, and availability of the corporate DevOps infrastructure and applications Personal Characteristics and Attributes
